Let’s go

I’m a techno-dork. I admit it. Trying to get this new site up had me cussing and pulling many of the graying hairs out of my head. My nephew Tom helped. A lot. For him and much of that younger generation, cyberspace is like breathing. For me? Like gasping for breath.

So please go gently when you peruse my site. It’s a work in progress. Like me.

I exported much of my old site here and there are a gazillion errors. I’ll get to them in time but that doesn’t really matter.

What does matter to me is the content. The words I write. The messages I hope inspire, uplift or cause you to ponder.

My site may not be technically correct, but it has heart. And that’s where I hope to meet you. In the collective heart we share.

As some of you who have been following my blog know, I lost my beloved Joe in April. It’s still a painful journey that on any given day softens me, pummels me, strips me. That, on top of caring for my dear dad these last six years, has emptied me to the marrow. I haven’t been able to write, not as before.

But I believe this a good thing. My writing is in transformation. My hope is that these life experiences have shifted me into a deeper place of knowing and being in this raw human condition we all share — and that will be reflected in my writing.

I’m still struggling with writing the next blog post. A theme is rumbling through my soul about “going” and the spaces and places we “go” in our outer and inner worlds.

That topic is shown in the header photo I chose for this blog, a woman “going” into unknown territory. To guide her, she carries a lantern. This symbolizes to me the light we all carry within us, that intuitively leads the way.

As she travels, she will face joys, sorrows, struggles, adventure. Her story is still being told, is in process, much like yours and mine. But she is not alone. We are together on this human and spiritual path.

So come with me. We are companions on these “Stories for the Journey.” I’m happy you’re here.

Let’s go.
